STEC Tanzania Project Department Conducts Public Security Emergency Drill

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on safe production and risk prevention and control of overseas projects, to implement the relevant safety work arrangements of the SASAC and Ministry of Emergency Management, and in accordance with the safety work requirements of CNBM and Triumph Group for overseas projects, STEC attached great importance and quickly organized the Tanzania WHR project department to conduct an on-site anti-theft public security emergency drill on April 27, 2022.

With the emergency headquarters as the core, the four groups in the pre-arranged planning, including the supplies team, the medical rescue team, the logistics support team and the on-site disposal team, with a total of 22 participants responded in a timely manner, acted quickly and accurately. The main content of the drill was that three thieves were found on the site to break into the material warehouse, intending to cut the cables to commit theft. The commander-in-chief activated the contingency plan after receiving the alarm report, and immediately notified the teams to arrive at the designated location and called the police. In the end, the thieves were successfully intercepted and waited for the handover police.

This drill was well-planned, well-organized, the participants cooperated well, the scenes were realistic, and the drills were handled properly. Which has accumulated valuable experience for STEC project departments to respond to public security emergencies in rescue and disposal capabilities, and effectively verified the scientificity, practicality and operability of the overseas anti theft contingency plan for overseas theft control. All the on-site personnel of the overseas project department will firmly establish the awareness of overseas risk prevention and control and emergency response, strengthen the emergency response ability of project management personnel, improve the emergency cooperation ability of on-site security personnel, disposal personnel, logistics personnel, etc., and exercise the psychology of the project team. quality and responsibility.
