Recently, Shanghai Triumph Energy Conservation Engineering Co., Ltd. (STEC)，a subsidiary of China Triumph International Engineering Co., Ltd. (CTIEC) and Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute signed the " China United Cement Qingzhou 200,000 tons CO2 Capture EPC Project" in the form of a consortium. The project held a grand commencement ceremony on June 28th at China United Cement Qingzhou Co., Ltd. Entrusted by Peng Shou, an academician of the CAE Member, chief engineer of CNBM, chairman of Triumph Technology Group and chairman of CTIEC, Lv Hongwei, executive vice president of CTIEC, attended the ceremony.

This project will utilize the flue gas from the existing clinker production line of China United Cement Qingzhou as the raw material, the first half will use the cement kiln full oxygen combustion technology independently developed by Tianjin Institute to enrich CO2, and the second half will use the pressure swing adsorption coupling adsorption distillation purification technology independently developed by China Building Materials Glass New Materials Research Institute and STEC to capture and purify CO2, and build an annual production of 200,000 tons of CO2 full oxygen combustion enrichment and purification demonstration line. After completion, the project will become the largest in the domestic cement industry and the first CO2 and purification project in the cement sector of CNBM. It has been included in the first batch of major scientific and technological research projects in the China building materials industry, the first batch of key core technology research projects of CNBM, and the list of low-carbon technology research projects of the National Development and Reform Commission.

Following the successful implementation of the world's first CO2 project in the glass industry, STEC will begin to implement the largest CO2 and purification project in the China cement industry, lead and promote the strategic transformation of the "Green Revolution" in the China building materials industry, and take practical actions to mark the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the CPC Gift to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the China Building Materials Glass New Materials Research Institute.
