Saint-Gobain Group Delegation’s Visit to STEC for Inspection and Exchange

Recently, Arnaud Le Verge, Technical Center Director of the globally renowned Building Material Company Saint-Gobain, led a delegation to visit and exchange ideas with Shanghai Triumph Energy Conservation Engineering Co., Ltd. and its affiliated projects.

The event is attended by Pierre Millereau, the Low-Carbon Process Development Manager of Saint-Gobain, Dr. Huachun LI, Creative Director of Shanghai R&D Centre and Yanfei GAO, Chairman of STEC, Suqing JIN, General Manager, Yizhou ZENG, Executive Deputy Manager and other relevant personnel.

At the exchange meeting, Mrs. Yanfei GAO expressed the warm welcome to delegation and introduced them the study and implementation achievement in Dual Carbon Field. Following the successful implementation of CNBM (Hefei) New Energy Photovoltaic Glass Production Line Carbon Capture and Purification Project, STEC also successfully launched the Qingzhou Zhonglian Cement Carbon Capture coupled with the Oxygen Combustion Project, with the capacity of 200,000 tons per year. Moreover, STEC felt honored to provide self-developed carbon capture technology to Saint Gobain Group’s Glass, Cement, Insulation and Ceramics plants and looks forward to establishing a profound cooperation between both parties.

Mr. Arnaud Le Verge highly praised STEC’s leading advantage in PSA Carbon Capture Technology. He stated that Saint Gobain, as a world-leading company in design, production and sales of building materials, hopes to collaborate more closely with global renowned Carbon Capture Solution Provider like STEC. Together, we drive the technology innovation and industrial upgrading, contributing to the achievement of global neutrality goals.

After that, the delegation conducted a on-site visit to two projects implemented by STEC in Hefei and Qingzhou. They gave high praise to projects after gaining the basic information, construction milestones and technical principles. They regarded these projects as landmark achievements in the green and low-carbon transformation of building material industry. By employing the advanced Carbon Capture Technology, realizing carbon capture effectively during industrial production, providing valuable experience and reference for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting resource recycling.

This visit marks the beginning of a joint effort between both parties to promote the implementation of series carbon capture projects with a model effect , contributing to the global sustainable development goal.
