Bangladesh AKIJ Glass WHR Project Successfully Synchronized to the Grid for Power Generation

On January 18, 2025, the Bangladesh AKIJ glass plant 2.5MW WHR project, implemented by STEC, was successfully synchronized to the grid for power generation, bring new vitality into the energy development of Bangladesh.
The project has attracted much attention since its inception, which is the 1st overseas glass plant WHR project implemented by STEC Accompanied by local political and security instability factors during the construction period, STEC project management team demonstrated professional competence and tenacious fighting spirit by adopting scientific and professional methods to ensure the quality and progress of construction; More importantly, STEC project team strictly implemented safety protection management, providing solid guarantees for the safety of construction and management team, ensuring the smooth progress of the project, and ultimately successfully synchronizing to the grid on time, receiving high praise from the customer.
The smooth implementation of this project marks the milestone achievement of Bangladesh's annual clean power supply of up to 18.8 million kilowatts, which has profound significance for alleviating the long-standing power supply shortage in Bangladesh.
