On February 14th, CNBM held the 2024 annual party organization secretaries' performance evaluation and assessment meeting for party building in the group and its member enterprises. The Party Committee of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council sent representatives to the meeting for guidance. Zhou Yuxian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group, and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Stock Company, made on-site comments and speeches. Chang Zhangli, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the Group, presided over the meeting, and members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of the Group and the Stock Company attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the party organization secretaries of five units, BNBM Group, Triumph Group, Tianshan Materials, BNBM Building Materials, and CNBM Investment, reported on their work in party building, focusing on the two compulsory questions of "taking Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide, applying what they have learned to solve the problems of enterprise development is not enough; the construction of a cadre and talent team is not enough to support the high-quality development of enterprises". The party organization secretaries of the Group and the other 12 member companies of the shares made written reports. Zhou Yuxian commented on the five secretaries and enterprises who reported on the spot one by one, fully affirmed the performance of the party organization secretaries of the five units in fulfilling their responsibilities as the first responsible persons for party building work, and pointed out the existing problems and directions for improvement.

Zhou Yuxian put forward requirements for the implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important ideas on Party building and self revolution, and for doing a good job in the Party building work of the New Era and New Journey Group. He emphasized the need to adhere to political leadership, highlight theoretical armament, fully implement the "first agenda" system, continuously consolidate the achievements of party discipline learning and education, focus on integrating knowledge with action to solve problems, and comprehensively enhance ideological guidance. It must adhere to the standard of "good cadres", highlight the selection and management, build a high-quality cadre team, build a talent highland, stimulate the vitality of the team, and comprehensively enhance strategic execution. It must adhere to building a strong grassroots, highlight two functions, promote the quality and efficiency of party building work through points and areas, tighten the joint management responsibility chain through examination, promote the deep integration of party building business, and comprehensively enhance organizational combat effectiveness. It must adhere to a comprehensive and strict approach, highlight the importance of upholding integrity and discipline, continuously deepen political supervision, constantly punish corruption, persistently strengthen our work style, coordinate various forms of supervision, and comprehensively enhance our supervisory and guarantee capabilities.

Chang Zhangli put forward requirements for implementing the spirit of this meeting.
